Private Jet Prices can be confusing–some Jets simply move from Airport to Airport and rates will frequently change. A number of operators will offer “One Way Pricing” which applies to the Larger Jets such as the Gulfstream IV, the Global Jets and BBJ’s. To understand Jet Pricing we developed a series of options which allow you to better explore Prices and secure a great deal for you next Jet Charter or Rental.
Understanding Jet Pricing
Jet Prices are based on the type of aircraft, hourly operational and ownership costs. For example the newest group of Very Light Jets are fuel efficient. This includes the Embraer Phenom 100 and the newest Citation M2. Hourly charter costs range from $1,900 to $2,400 per hour. Over 70% of all flights are under 1,500 miles, under 2.3 hours which is about the Maximum flight time (Range of the Very Light Jet Category).
The Citation M2 with 5 seats and an interior designed by BMW offers a fully enclosed washroom, plus features such as Free WIFI. The Very Light Jets are a great option for Vegas weekends from most California Airports. Or a visit to the Wineries in Napa Valley or the Central Coast of California. Vegas visitors will take the M2 for a daytrip and visit to Disneyland Anaheim via the John Wayne (SNA) airport. This plane earns a Five Star Rating from 94.7% of all our guests.
Midsize Jets, higher Prices
This category of Private Jets will extend your flying time- range to 4.5 hours. This aircraft is the best solution for non-stop flights from LAX to Chicago, Dallas to Phoenix or Houston to Las Vegas. This category of Jets include the Lear 60 with 6 seats or the newest Phenom 300 with up to 9 seats. Expect Hourly Charter costs from $3,400- to $3,700. Business Travelers prefer this aircraft layout with a conference table and aft enclosed lavatory. High Speed WIFI and entertainment options should encourage you to consider the Phenom 300.
Super-Midsize Jets, Value Priced
The Super Midsize Category includes the Challenger 601-604 series with up to 12 seats, the Hawker 800 and the Gulfstream 200, 280 series. Most of the aircraft will take you comfort from LAX to Miami or from New York to Las Vegas. Aircraft are well suited for business travel with Conference Tables, a forward Galley and spacious washroom. Enjoy the benefits of a standup cabin and many of the Luxuries of the Large Cabin Jets—however prices are much lower starting at $4,400 per hour. Consider the Super Mid as a Best buy and Great Value compared with the pirces for the Large Cabin Jets.
Large Cabin Jets, High Prices, options to save 30-60%
This type of Jet is well suited for trips to Hawaii, London, Paris, Rome or Hing Kong. Large spacious cabins include a full sized forward galley, spacious washrooms and a baggage area which can be accessed during the flight. Rate range from $5,800 to $6,400 per hour. For travelers with a flexible schedule we suggest you consider “Open Legs” which are published about two weeks before departure with potential discounts from 30-60%.
