For the experienced Private Jet flyer the selection process could be complex. Here is a short overview of the various programs.

FRACTIONAL OWNERSHIPS, under this process you may decide to become a part owner of a specific aircraft. You will be sharing the ownership of a specific aircraft which meets your specific needs. PREPAID CARDS, a number of firms offer stored value cards which provide you with lower hourly charter costs. Firms typically ask you to invest a minimum of $25,000. Amounts for each firm and contract may be very different. Some travelers appreciate the prestige of a membership card. It also provides the charter firms with a good tool to identify their VIP travelers. As a flyer, you need to determine that this payment up front is a good investment. Carefully review the perks and benefit of each firm before you decide!

ON DEMAND CHARTERS, this process is straightforward and not complicated. You only pay for the hours you fly. No long term risks or obligations. You simply search for the best aircraft at the best price from a quality FAA Part 135 operator. Operators will be pleased to provide you with quotes for several aircraft types. Do select the best aircraft for your flights. The new very light jets such as the Phenom 100 are a good choice- however the range is limited to only 13000 miles (about 3 hours plus flying)

DEALS, you will be able to secure a compelling deal for one way open leg charters. This includes aircraft and crews which fly empty to meet a passenger or return to base. This is a great choice for travelers with flexible schedules. It’ may be difficult to locate a return flight–this could be in coach on a commercial carrier.
